Heading Home

The Têt New Year is right around the corner on the 22nd of January. It will be the year of the cat for Vietnamese and the year of the rabbit for the Chinese. They are so smart, because we think every year should be the year of the Cat. We started the morning watching our Cats defeat rivals KU!! EMAW!

We took a taxi to the French Quarter just to wonder around and shop. Always a lot of action going on, people everywhere, motorcycles everywhere and smells everywhere. Lots of languages too, French, German, Australian, British and I’m afraid I can’t tell the difference between the Asian speakers.

I think I’m ready for home. I just ordered french fries and a Corona. Next stops, Seoul, Detroit, Denver and then home!

  2. So interesting! The Hanoi hotel, grounds and beach are beautiful! What kind of animals are in the tall skinny tree? I know your trip has been awesome, but know you are ready to head home. Safe travels, talk to you when you are back in the states.
