Our last stop before returning to the U.S! Always an enjoyable time visiting with Victor and his family. They stay very busy, so we really appreciate them making us feel so much like extended family.
The first night we ate along the Main. I had Schnitzel for the third time in as many days. This was the best, with green sauce which is typical Frankfurt. Afterwards we went to a summer Altstadtfest or old town fair in Neu-Isenburg.
The next morning we went to another small quaint town called Seligenstadt. We walked the streets and visited a monastery with a beautiful garden.
For lunch we skipped the main course and went straight to dessert!
The weather was warm, but we really enjoyed eating supper out in the garden. We played games and had some really good steaks and beer. It was a good way to end a wonderful trip to Europe!
