Due to the weather we had an extra day in Port Madryn.
The morning started slow, with yoga and a facial. Then we did a little shopping for the grands. On the way there was a Sea Lion relaxing under the bow of our ship.

Yesterday we bought a couple of postcards, so we needed to purchase some stamps. We walked several blocks and found the post office. We figured that we would need pesos, so we converted $10.00 beforehand, thinking that would be plenty. It was 8,000 pesos or $8.00 to mail one postcard.

About 5:00 the ship departed for Ushuaia, Argentina. It is the southernmost city in the world and one of five gateway cities to Antarctica. To get to Ushuaia, because of the weather, we will be going through the Straight of Magellan. The captain hopes this will protect us from the worst of the weather and the roughest seas. The trip will take about 2 1/2 days.
