Kauffman Commentary

We decided to take the train south, past the stadium to see the sea.

Then we went one stop back to the town of Dalkey. As we walked around the corner to their city center the annual Lobster Festival was just opening. We got in line for a Lobster roll. We couldn’t believe the luck.

We ate with a couple from Bray, just a few towns south. They were so much fun to talk to, she was Irish and he was originally from New York. Another couple sat down, she was Irish and he was from Barcelona. Both of them were in college. We enjoyed chatting with them and learning about their countries.

We fought hard and at times, thought we might come back and win. Final score, K-state 21 Iowa State 24.
