Road Back to Casablanca

This morning we left about 8:15 to take the road that runs right next to the Atlantic.

We have tried to collect a few road signs along the way.

Very beachy from the beginning and then more rocky and industrial in Safi. Not just cars on our road.

Industry around Safi, a city of 600,000 is mainly chemical and energy related.

Safi has one brand new McDonald’s.  Right next to their port. The french fries were just like home.

Lunch was in a tiny town known for their oysters. The government regulates all of the oysters in the country and they must show their certificate as to the size, date and place they were harvested.

Tonight for dinner we went to a local fusion restaurant. Mainly for locals and not for tourists. Great food! It was a wonderful evening and a good ending to our Morocco adventure.
