It is a sleep deprived evening here in Lisbon. The O Português Chiado gave us a taste of some of Portugal’s finest foods; octopus, cod, polenta and beef cheeks. It is always a challenge to duck out right after eating in Europe, they so want you to stay for the entire evening.
Taking the subway is the way to go from the airport to the hotel. Much faster than sitting in traffic and only $1.16 each.
Bryan and Tim went to a gin tasting and created their own tasty drinks.
The hotel Corpo Santo has a great location near the water and candy for Bryan in the lobby and ice cream for Tara.
It is good to be here with our friends.
It wouldn’t be a trip without a lost suitcase. Mine didn’t make the last leg to Lisbon. It is supposed to hitch a ride on a Portugal Tap Air plane later this evening.
